Mark Curtin has over 15 years of experience in working with children and youth in community/recreation services. He has competed, coached, and played basketball at a competitive level throughout North America. The game of basketball has always been and will remain a great passion of Mark’s. It is through his experience that he knows this game will have an everlasting positive impact on all children who are given an opportunity to play.
Ransford Brempong brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and experience. He attended Western Carolina University for 5 years on a full Division 1 NCAA scholarship. Ransford also was a member of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team, and played in the Olympic Qualifiers in Athens, Greece. He played for a total of 8 years in the National program. Ransford currently coaches the North Van Academy at Argyle and Seycove Secondary School where he works with many of the top high school basketball players across the north shore. He also was the assistant coach on the U17 Provincial Team this past summer. Rans currently resides in North Vancouver with his wife and three young children where he looks forward to continuing to add value to the growing basketball community.
