I, personally, have over 15 years of experience in working with children and youth in community/recreation services. I have competed, coached, and played basketball at a competitive level throughout North America. The game of basketball has always been and will remain a great passion of mine. It is through my experience that I know this game will have a everlasting positive impact on all children who are given an opportunity to play.

Curtis Allamby

Director of Administration

Born in Montreal, Curtis’ passion for sports and fitness became apparent at a very young age. His family settled in Toronto during his teenage years where he excelled in three sports (football, basketball and track & field). His mother has been involved in the childcare industry for over 40 years, which means that he got his start in the field at a very young age. For over 15 years, Curtis has worked with children from the ages of 2-18 as a tutor, coach, supervisor, and mentor.
Curtis is also a certified personal trainer, and owner of 4AFitness. He also is the program coordinator for a non profit program called Nighthoops, which is a basketball league for at risk youth. Whether it’s through fitness, sports or simply volunteering his time, Curtis takes great joy in helping others improve themselves.
When he is not busy at work creating workout and meal plans for his clients, Curtis likes to get out and play sports (mainly football), dive into a good book, or hang our with close friends. However, his priority is always spending as much time as possible with his 5 year old daughter, Brooklyn.
